Sessions Per Student: 1 Session Per Week

Session Length: 1 Hour 30 Minutes

Families must choose ONE class track at registration.

Young Authors Physical Workbook: $59.99

Junior Authors (Ages 6–8)

Homeschool Daytime Option

Day: Tuesday

Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST

Dates: March 17 | March 24 | March 31 | April 7 | April 14

Total Sessions: 5

Focus:

  • Story basics

  • Simple beginning, middle, end structure

  • Character creation

  • Guided sentence writing

  • Light editing support

Class Format:

  • 60-minute Zoom sessions

  • More instructor-led writing

  • Parent support encouraged for younger writers

Senior Authors (Ages 9–12)

Homeschool Daytime Option

Day: Tuesday

Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM EST

Dates: March 17 | March 24 | March 31 | April 7 | April 14

Total Sessions: 5

  • Peer sharing opportunities

Junior Authors (Ages 6–8)

After-School Option

Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM EST

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Young Authors Club is a live, guided virtual writing and publishing program where children create and complete their own book in 5 weeks using our official workbook and weekly Zoom instruction.

  • We offer two age-based classes: Junior Authors (Ages 6–8) and Senior Authors (Ages 9–12), structured to meet developmental writing levels.

  • Yes. Every enrolled student receives a printed physical Young Authors workbook shipped directly to the address provided at registration.

  • Yes. Families have the option to purchase a digital workbook version in addition to the physical copy. The digital version is optional and not required for participation.

  • No. prior writing experience is required. We guide students step-by-step from idea creation to final manuscript completion.

  • Families must complete the online registration form, purchase the workbook, and submit payment in full before receiving Zoom access details.

  • Classes are held live on Zoom. Students may use their physical workbook during sessions and may also use Canva for optional formatting and final book design.

  • When available, session recordings may be shared with enrolled families so students can stay on track.

  • Yes. Once the manuscript is complete and approved, families may purchase paperback or hardcover printing packages of their child’s finished book.

  • Due to workbook shipping and access to course materials, refunds are not available once materials have been shipped or digital access has been granted.

  • The program runs for 5 weeks with one live Zoom session per week. Writing assignments are completed between sessions.

  • Each student will complete a structured manuscript, design their title and author pages, participate in a virtual author celebration, and have the opportunity to publish their book.
