At Everyday Play N Learn Child Development Center, we understand that affordability can be a challenge, especially when families are navigating the Maryland Child Care Scholarship (formerly known as the Child Care Subsidy or voucher program). To support our community, we offer a Temporary Space Program that allows children to attend our center at no cost beyond the voucher amount.

This temporary enrollment remains available until a full-time, private-pay family enrolls in that space. We provide a 2-week written notice so the family has time to make other arrangements.

This program offers short-term child care enrollment for families receiving the Maryland Child Care Scholarship. Instead of paying our regular tuition, you only pay what the state voucher covers.

TERMS OF TEMPORARY ENROLLMENT

1.Tuition & Payments Your child is enrolled under a temporary scholarship-based care program. No co-pay or tuition difference is required at this time. No registration fee is required for this enrollment. A yearly supply fee of $125 is due upon enrollment.

2.Temporary Status & Notice This spot is temporary and is provided only while there are no full-paying families requesting care. You will receive at least 2 weeks’ written notice if your child’s spot is to be given to a fulltuition- paying family.

3.Voluntary Termination by Parent You may terminate care at any time before the two-week notice period begins, with no penalties or additional fees.

4.Termination by Everyday Play N Learn Everyday Play N Learn reserves the right to discontinue this temporary enrollment with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice when a full-paying family requires the spot. The program may also immediately terminate care without notice for the following reasons: Failure to follow center rules or policies outlined in the Parent Handbook Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior from a parent, guardian, or child Aggressive behavior, violence, or threats toward staff, other children, or families Repeated late pickups or failure to maintain communication with the program Unsafe conduct or bringing prohibited items into the center False information provided during enrollment or failure to disclose important childrelated needs Any other actions deemed harmful or not in the best interest of the program or the children in care

5. Parent/Guardian Agreement I understand and agree that this is a temporary enrollment based on scholarship assistance only. I understand that I am only responsible for the yearly supply fee, and no registration or co-pay is required. I understand that my child’s care may be terminated with two weeks’ notice or immediately if any violations occur.
